WSBA Bylaw 115: Absence / Misconduct

- An officer may resign from his or her position by submitting a written resignation to the President.
- All officers are entitled to three (3) unexcused absences during a semester.
- If an officer reaches two unexcused absences, the Secretary shall notify the Executive Council that the officer has one additional absence. The Secretary shall also notify the WSBA members via a report attached to the minutes that the officer has one additional absence. Upon a third unexcused absence, the officer will be suspended.
- The President shall privately contact an officer who has reached two (2) absences to inform them of their attendance standing and the resignation policy. The President may excuse absences subject to review by the Executive Council.
- Upon suspension, the Executive Council Member is automatically referred to the Misconduct Panel.
