WSBA Bylaw 105: William O. Douglas Professor of the Year
I. The WSBA shall annually sponsor the William O. Douglas Outstanding Professor of the Year Award.
II. The award will be presented to the professor receiving the most votes from members of the three-law (3L) class of the current academic year (December, May, and August graduates).
III. The president shall make a good faith effort to make ballots available to all third year students, including those graduating in December.
IV. The WSBA shall present the Outstanding Professor with an education-related gift with a value of not more than $300, inscribe his/her name on the award plaque, and make arrangements for a tribute in the Washburn Law Journal.
V. Professors are not eligible to win the award twice consecutively. Students shall be informed of ineligible professors as they vote.
