The staff of the  Kansas State Library  has put together an excellent list of resources regarding the Death Penalty in Kansas.  Some items that are included:

• Senate Bill 208 (session 2009) asking for the repeal of the death penalty
• Report of the Kansas Judicial Council Death Penalty Advisory Committee on Certain Issues Related to the Death Penalty, November 12, 2004
• Historic documents from  Kansas Memory including a handwritten act to punish offenses against slave property from 1855
