The Big Topeka – Google Fiber Experiment
ThinkBigTopeka has started a revolution, a revolution to high speed internet.В Google announced they plan to bring 1 gigabit per second internet speeds to a community of at least 50,000 and potentially up to 500,000. Google’s RFI (Request For Information), is really your own sales pitch to Google to bring this ultra broadband to your community. Of course I encourage your to vote for Topeka, KSВ or Shawnee County Kansas while filling out the short form. ThinkBigTopeka has really drawn some attention outside of Topeka and Shawnee County, just this morning TechCruch published an article about our beloved Topeka,Kansas being know as Google,Kansas. We also take a few jabs in the piece, but all press is good press right? ThinkBigTopeka is archiving all the articles published about the movement, check it out.
