DropBox – Data Freedom
DropBox is your one stop solution to backup your data to the cloud. The best part….its free. DropBox is available for Windows, Linux, Mac, Android, iPhone, iPad, and BlackBerry.
DropBox is dead simple. Download here, run the installer, create an account using your email address and select the folder to backup. DropBoxwill handle the rest. Any file in the selected location will automatically be uploaded to your DropBox space. When the file is modified, DropBoxwill upload only the changed bit/s (decreasing needed bandwidth). DropBox also keeps copies of older files(version) that you can restore to.
Now with DropBox on your phone, you can backup your mobile files (media,apps, etc), and have access to the files you have backed up from your computer as well. Well what are you waiting for get over there and break your tether yourself from the pain of duplicate copies, thumbdrives, external drives etc.
DropBox also has a referral program, allow members to increase the free storage up to 8GB. With each referral you receive an additional 250mb. And yes the links in this article are my DropBox referral links.
